News & Stories The 2030 Climate Challenge Share By Devra Wang on 5/8/2020 on 5/8/2020 Lever for Change has launched an exciting new competition: the 2030 Climate Challenge, which awards $10 million to the most impactful and durable solution aiming at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the buildings, industry, and/or transportation sectors in the U.S. by 2030. These three key sectors currently account for more than half of the national GHG emissions. To make real progress in decarbonizing our national economy, we need solutions that can effectively decarbonize these areas. This challenge is open to U.S. non-profit organizations or a coalition of organizations led by U.S. non-profits. Visit www.2030climatechallenge.org to learn more and determine your organization’s eligibility by taking the Organizational Readiness Tool.
