The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) recently released the results of a statewide survey it conducted on environmental issues and policies. In what is the 16th annual PPIC Statewide Survey on environmental issues since 2000, results showed—among other findings—that most Californians state they are willing to pay more for electricity from renewable sources to help reduce global warming.
