This effort is supported by the Heising-Simons Foundation, among many other partners. New Report Shows Health Effects of Pollution on Communities of Color CBS News, November 15, 2017 A new report produced in part by the Clean Air Task Force, a grantee of the Climate and Clean Energy program, warns that people living nearby industrial facilities are being disproportionally affected by pollution. ICE’s Courthouse Arrests Undercut Democracy New York Times, November 26, 2017 This article cites a recent study conducted by Human Rights grantee the Tahirih Justice Center, which reports that almost half of all service providers working with immigrant survivors of abuse have reported clients dropping their cases out of fear of deportation.
