December 11, 2023, marks the 75^th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), a milestone document in the history of human rights that upholds the inherent dignity, equality, and rights of every individual.

Heising-Simons Foundation is pleased to partner with Article 3 to commemorate this important milestone. The event, “Still We Rise,” will pay tribute to the profound 75-year legacy of the UDHR, and celebrate the visionaries, leaders, activists, citizens, and courageous individuals who, through both small and great actions, whether known or unknown, have contributed to the story of human rights.

The two-hour program (10am-12pm PST) takes place in San Francisco, California, and will be livestreamed to a global audience. Watch the livestream here.

During the program, Sushma Raman, President and CEO of the Heising-Simons Foundation and leader in international development and advocacy, will join other global change makers to discuss ways to “reimagine the future” of human rights.
