News & Stories From Science Idea to NASA Mission Share By Nondas Paschos on 10/2/2019 on 10/2/2019 The process of developing mission concepts for submission to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA’s) Science Mission Directorate is incredibly complex. To support future principal investigators interested in submitting their first NASA mission proposal, the Heising-Simons Foundation’s Science program is sponsoring an all-expenses paid three-day workshop on November 18-20, 2019, in Tucson, AZ. The workshop, organized by the University of Arizona and NASA, will guide participants to turn their science question into a mission concept by developing a science case, building a team, securing partnerships, and obtaining support from their home institution. Applications are due October 15. Click here to apply. Science Close Share this page Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on Email
