The Heising-Simons Foundation has awarded a $500,000 grant to World Resources Institute (WRI) — a global research organization focusing on critical issues at the intersection of environment and development.

WRI conducts analysis and convenes state, local, and federal leaders to discuss ways in which the United States can build back from the COVID-19 pandemic better than before. WRI identifies policies to stimulate the economy, create jobs, and cut greenhouse gas emissions to improve peoples’ lives over the short- and long-term.
