R Street Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, public policy research organization whose mission is to engage in policy research and outreach to promote free markets and effective government.

As part of the Climate and Clean Energy strategy to transform the energy sector, this grant supports R Street’s efforts to enhance competition in wholesale electricity markets. The organization will engage with federal, regional, and state policymakers, and use market forces to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
