News & Stories PPIC Statewide Survey: Californians and the Environment Share By Heising-Simons Foundation on 7/28/2016 on 7/28/2016 The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) recently released the results of a statewide survey it conducted on environmental issues and policies. In what is the 16th annual PPIC Statewide Survey on environmental issues since 2000, results showed—among other findings—that most Californians state they are willing to pay more for electricity from renewable sources to help reduce global warming. The survey was supported with funding from The Dirk and Charlene Kabcenell Foundation, the Heising-Simons Foundation, the Pisces Foundation, and the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation.
