WITNESS helps activists, journalists, lawyers, and human rights defenders around the world to use video and technology to protect and defend human rights. The organization equips communities to more safely and effectively use these digital tools for meaningful change, and ensures that grassroots realities are shaping a tech ecosystem that better supports this change.

This grant provides general support for WITNESS to serve frontline communities and bridge the gap with systems-level stakeholders to strengthen the credibility, integrity, and power of critical human rights accounts.
