News & Stories Supporting Women and Gender Minority Graduate Students in Physics Share By Nondas Paschos on 12/22/2021 on 12/22/2021 The Foundation is supporting the Advancing Graduate Leadership Conference in Physics program that aims to expand networking, provide professional development, and support women and gender minority graduate- and post-doctorate students in seeking leadership roles in physics. The conference is organized run by the American Physical Society, a nonprofit membership organization working to advance the knowledge of physics. The funding is part of the Foundation’s effort to create a more inclusive, robust, and innovative physics and astronomy community in U.S. universities and research bodies.
