James Bullard is the director of technology at the Heising-Simons Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2018, James worked as a solution architect for Exponent Partners, developing Salesforce-based solutions for nonprofits. His professional background also includes managing information systems at FairTrade USA, KQED, and the Sierra Club. In addition to his career in technology, James has a lifelong interest in education, having taught high school English in Chicago, and Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language at a homeless shelter in San Francisco. James holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago.
